RCT Assessors Required
We currently have vacancies for RCT Assessors. If you are registered on the RCT and are looking for a new challenge, this is an interesting and varied role to add to your CV and could also count towards your CPD. Please see below for further details.
Role description
- To assess the applications from potential RCT registrants and determine their suitability for registration.
- For primary route applicants this will involve ensuring they hold the relevant qualifications.
- For equivalence applications this will involve assessing a portfolio report to determine whether they meet the criteria and have the relevant experience to be registered. In order to do this you must be working as a registered technologist with sufficient experience to assess an application.
Full training for how to assess applicants will be provided beforehand. This will involve one training session and your appointment will commence upon the completion of your training session.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for the role you must be registered as a Clinical Technologist with the RCT and be working as a registered Clinical Technologist in one of the current RCT scopes of practice.
You must be able to critically review a portfolio of evidence and determine that all criteria has been met.

- Radiotherapy Physics
- Bone Densitometry
