Application guidelines
The Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT) is open to all working in a scientific technical role in the field of medical physics or clinical engineering who satisfy the criteria and are based in the UK when first applying to join. The guidelines are to assist those technologists (practitioners) who have completed a formal training programme or are otherwise qualified for entry in either medical physics or clinical engineering.

Appeals Against Application Decision
If you wish to appeal against a decision made by the RCT in relation to an application you should contact the registrar in writing within 30 days of the disputed decision to the address below.
Please explain, in detail, the reasons for your appeal.
Please note that only candidates can appeal against a decision made by the RCT. No one can appeal on your behalf.
The RCT management board will endeavour to deal with your appeal within a period of 30 days from receipt.
