Application guidelines
The Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT) is open to all working in a scientific technical role in the field of medical physics, clinical engineering or sonography who satisfy the criteria and are based in the UK when first applying to join. The guidelines are to assist those technologists (practitioners) who have completed a formal training programme or are otherwise qualified for entry in either medical physics or clinical engineering.

Appeals Against Application Decision
Should an applicant be dissatisfied with the outcome of the registration process they must make this known in writing or email to the RCT Registrar, via the National Office, within 30 days from when they were notified of the decision. The applicant must submit additional information to support their appeal. Please view the RCT Registration Appeals Policy for full details.
